Coffee

Many people like to drink coffee because it makes them feel spiritedness. For instance, usually, a lot of salarymen prefer drinking a cup of coffee before they begin working or when they're forspent.

It seems that is the purpose of drinking coffee for many people. However, does it work? Probably it did work for most people, though, for me, it doesn't work at all. Even if I'm bushed, a cup of coffee still couldn't refresh me. I've tried that before, but it just didn't work. I don't know why.

Then, how do I deal with this kind of problem if I feel tired. Well, I would go to sleep rather than drinking coffee because I know it won't help.

Wolfman

I read an article which is about the fable of wolf man a couple days ago, and I think it’s kind of interesting. Some people called them “Werewolf”, but I don’t know how this word came from.

It’s said that the origin was from the very beginning of a myth in Rome. Lycaon was transformed into a wolf by Jupiter because of his crucial behaviors. This was the first fable, after that, the legend was spread out into the folk, and then it became a folktale. Usually, a wolfman would completely lose the shape of human being, and become a monster. The change always happens at nights, even so, some said that a wolf man still can transform back to a human when sun rises again.

Another interesting thing is that people often mention vampires when it comes to wolf man. Some said wolf man is the greatest enemy of vampires. And some said that they are the servants of vampires. But, who knows? It’s just a mystery. Perhaps people could only find their own answer in thriller movies.

The impact of movies

Last time I've mentioned about the impact of movies is quite serious. I won't say each movie has its own particular effects on some people. I would say some films do affect some people's thought, especially by those full of crimes, violence, and all the bad stuff.

For instance, some people might say dirty words more frequently, or have some bad habits, or even commit crimes just because they've watched people on movies do so, and then they learn from them. Perhaps it's not that serious for most adults, but it did influence many young kids. It can't be denied that children have more chances to learn bad things because they usually learn from what they've seen or heard.

To talk about the deep side, parents do have responsibility to prevent things like that. But, somehow it's always difficult to get those bad away from kids since there are still a lot of external factors around them which are considered to be inevitable. For sure, movies do bring people entertainment in some way; though, it also demonstrates many irrelevance matters to many young people.

Credit Card

It seems that many people like to use credit cards instead of paying by cash. And I also notice that many young people nowadays like to use credit cards when they go shopping. I have no idea why they tend to do that.

In fact, I don't have any interest in paying every thing by credit cards. I prefer using cash more than credit cards. For example, last year when I went to Hong Kong with my friend Johnny Bee, there was a great different between us whenever we paid. He's the one who likes to pay everything by credit cards. And I, on the other hand, use cash only. Here comes the problem, the great different between us was that when I almost ran out of my money, I stopped. Unlike him, he would never stop and still kept buying things by his credit cards as if his cards doesn't have upper limit.

I told him that "it's not appropriate to use credit cards like that, and it might make you get into debt." And he often wants me not to worry about that even though I am. To be honest, I really don't want to have any credit cards. It's not because I can't control my budget and might get myself into debt. It's just because I like to pay everything by cash but not credit cards. Perhaps for some people it's really convenient to use credit cards in some ways. But, for me, I don't think so.

Not polite?

Last night, my mother invited some of her friends to my house. All of them are almost the same age as my mother. When they came in, my mom said "Come on, Simon, say hello to my friends and get us some water." And of course, I did it.

After that, they started to chat in the living room. And I just wanted to get back to my room as soon as possible. And then, I heard my mom yell and say "Simon, why don't you just come over here and have some conversation with these aunts?" And I said "No. I still got some assignments to do." In fact, I didn't have any homework, and I just didn't want to talk with them.

Perhaps some people might think it was not polite to do that in that case. For me, however, it's quite normal because I'm not a talkative person. And I know some people might think that I'm cold or even dislike people like me. For this, I have nothing to say. I was born like this, and I think I did nothing wrong with this.

Black English

Black English, I have a great interest in knowing how it came from. I heard that it's kind of informal English, and it seems that many teachers don't want students learn it or even use it. Why?

Is it just because Black English is informal and dirty English? Or it's because the Black usage is different from modern English? Or it's about color? I wonder how Americans (not Black) treat Black English since I think there are a lot of people there, not only Black, use this kind of English. These are the questions that I really want to know.

Traffic in Tainan

Traffic jam, crazy riders, people who don't care about the traffic rules, so many disordered stuff which are always considered as common things in Tainan. I think it's a situation that many people just can't do anything but get used to it or accept it, including me.

Maybe people do know that it's not right to do something dangerous or illegal on the road, but they still do from time to time. Even if you ask some people a question like "Do you think that it's right to do something like running the red light? ", and they may give you an answer like "Of course it's wrong, but many people do that, wouldn't you?” which might make you get nothing to say. I do have this feeling, and I really have nothing to say about this disappointing, unnatural, but seems to be a quite normal city phenomenon.

Learning Languages

When people want to learn languages, it's usually easy for people to learn short words or phrases. Probably it's because people from other countries could usually hear native speakers say short words or phrases very commonly so that people can easily remember them.

However, it might cause some problems. For example, many people learn languages from movies. And it's very common to hear people in movies say some or many grimy words so that audiences might easily understand and know how to say dirty words unknowingly. The impact of movies on many people is quite serious, especially for younger. Is it good to learn languages from TV or movies so that people can easily understand what the words that native speakers usually say are, including bad words? Or shall I say it's not a big deal as many people do?

German

I didn't know that German is a useful language in Europe until one of my teacher told me last week. She said German is widely used in many European countries, such as Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Poland, Austria, and so on.

No wonder I heard many foreign teachers learned German before. But I'm still curious about one thing that is I wonder which language do most people prefer to use when they travel in Europe, German or English? Anyway, I think it's a good idea to learn German since it is a practical language in Europe nowadays, and maybe I would think about that.

Is is COLD?

It's been a little bit colder lately, but not as much colder as I think, so I assume that the winter has not come yet. I heard someone said it's really cold today, and it seems that they've already worn a lot of clothes, but I don't understand why they still feel cold.

I wore one more skivvies, put on my jacket and I rode my bike to go to school as usual this morning. On the way to school, I didn't feel like I was frozen, whereas I felt it was kind of cool. Probably it is because I exercise from time to time, so I won't feel cold easily. Again, I have to say it's really important to exercise, and it's one of the best ways to stay healthy.

Supernatural Power

I just finished my dinner a couple minutes ago. When I was eating my meal, I was thinking of one thing which is a question that somebody I don't remember who has ever asked me. “What if I could have a kind of supernatural power which I can hear other people's thoughts, what will I do?” And I haven't answered this question yet.

For me, this is not a question that I really need to think over. For sure, I don't want to have this kind of ability at all because what if I have the power to know what other people's thinking, it against the rules of nature. I don’t like that. Perhaps some people really want to have this kind of power in some ways. But, if I really have this unnatural power since I was born, I think my life won't be normal, but full of crazy stuffs all the way.

Health

Many teens don't like to go out to exercise nowadays. Instead of doing exercise, they prefer going window shopping or playing video games at home. It seems normal, but actually it doesn't. Many of them don't like to exercise because they don't want to sweat or get tan. But it causes a lot of problems, especially health problems. That's why it's now more and more common to see news about young people become diseased in body and mind.

Some of them even don't aware that they already get sick. Although the modern culture brings people a variety of convenience and satisfied material life, though, there is no denying that it has turned many people into ill. I'm hoping that people can pay more attention to this fact, especially those young who treat their health carelessly because it is really important. I exercise at least 3 times a week, and about 1 hour for each time. Sometimes I would advise my family and friends that they should do some exercise even if they are busy since I think we can live without comfort, but we can't live without healthy body.

Alarm Clock;Body Clock

Many people need alarm clocks to get up every day, and I do need one because I'm the type of person who will sleep in if there is no alarm. Most of my friends need alarms to wake them up every day. I said "alarms" because some of them need more than one alarm to wake them up. And I think there are lots of people do the same thing.

Though, I know there are some people who can get up without alarm clocks. And I appreciate that. I think these kinds of people may be much healthier than the others since they have better biological clocks. Young people mostly need at least one alarm to get up every day because sleeping late or staying up is the most common reason that causes many people have unhealthier body clock.

I think there is no one who prefers to have a sicklier body; however, people usually couldn't have a regular life because they have more important things to do. Some think their career is also important, even more important than their health. Although they all know their life is not well, and they do understand what the words given by dietitians or family doctor is important, but they just can't do it. Sometimes it is just not possible to look after two or more sides. Is it wrong to have that kind of life? Maybe it’s not right, but maybe not. It's just already become a problem that modern have. And perhaps, I'll become a person like that someday.

Bruce Lee

Bruce Lee, one of the person that I admire most, was widely regarded as the most influential martial artist in the 20th century. I like many kinds of martial art. Though, Bruce is the person I appreciate most because I myself, as a Chinese, feel proud of him for he had made a great impact on martial arts in the world.

I also like his philosophy of martial art. He claimed that every thing in the world has its own rules to live; however, it's not always necessary to follow them. Sometimes people get trapped because they just know how to obey the dead rules and don't know how to find other ways out. Like martial art, there are limitless ways to create one's style. Bruce broke the original rules of martial art, absorbed almost all kinds of martial art from other schools around the world, and then created his own style - Jeet Kune Do. Some other martial artists may admire him, but some don't. Undeniably, though, he is a great man at carrying forward the cultures of martial art.

I like him not because he is also a Chinese like me. It's about the work he had made and the words he had said. Actually, I know many things of Bruce Lee not because I’ve read a lot of books or articles about him, but gained many information from my master, who has taught me Jeet Kune Do for 2 and a half years. I was taught a lot of things which are not only about martial art itself, but also learned the truth about how to live with right aspects of treating other people.

College Students

In Taiwan, There are more and more students go to college every year. Most students would take a big examination before getting in a college. In the past, there are only a few students who got good grades can go to college. Nowadays, though, college students are everywhere. Even though students don't graduate with good grades from high school, they still can get into some universities which might not be so well-known.

It might seem to be a good thing for some people's views. However, I don't agree with that because perhaps for some people, they are willing to see this outlook, but the truth is that they don't think about the results, which mean many college students nowadays lack for attainments, and usually learn nothing after graduating from a university. Education in Taiwan changes from time to time, and I've got no idea why it has become poorer. Who should responsible for this? I really don’t know.

Comparison between Airplane and HSR

Transportations in Taiwan are getting improved and have made a lot of changes which are different from the past. To compare these two main transportations which are the most convenient and fastest, but are completely different style, is the issue that people in Taiwan usually like to talk about.

Suppose there is a person who would like to go to Kaohsiung from Taipei, there are many different ways for him or her to choose to get there. In Taiwan, taking a bus or a train is the most common way that most people choose to travel between the north and the south. However, people in Taiwan nowadays have one more choice to select – High Speed Rail (HSR), which can be determined as the main and more convenient transportation than airplanes which were called the fastest transportation.

HSR has not only become a very convenient but also extremely fast transportation now, but it is a conveyance which is completely different from airplanes. Airplanes were considered as the only fastest transportation until the appearance of HSR. Although both transportations are quite different, they still have some similarities. For example, both of the two transportations are very safe, fast and efficient. In addition, both of them improve the over crowed traffic on high way effectively. Another similarity is that, it is expensive to take both kinds of transportations because both cost over a thousand dollars in one-way. On the other hand, it is obvious that they have a plenty of differences. For instance, an airliner has about 300-500 seats, but HSR has nearly 1000 seats. Moreover, the speed they travel is different, too. HSR travel with the speed of 300km per hour; however, an airliner moves with the speed about 500km per hour. Furthermore, an airliner needs a lot of energy, such as a great amount of Jet fuel so that it can maintain a longer flight; HSR, though, saves much more energy. It only relies on the electrification of the railway, and it doesn’t need any fuel material. Also, HSR could hardly cause noise pollution; in contrast, wherever a place is near an airport, it is always very noisy.

Taking an airliner is much faster than taking HSR, but is also takes times to run through the Customs of the airport. Nevertheless, taking HSR is a little bit cheaper than taking an airliner, and people don’t need to waste times to pass the station. However, some people don’t like to take HSR. They prefer taking an airliner even though it is more expensive than taking HSR. Because they think it’s not really safe to take HSR. Consequently, the appearance of HSR is just a beginning; people would learn to get used to it eventually, and figure out which kind of transportations is the one that fit them best.

For me, I would prefer taking HSR since I think it’s more convenient than taking an airplane and it’s cheaper. Perhaps, next time if I want to go to Taipei, I should check out HSR, and I think it will be interesting.

Up Again

The price of the gasoline is getting higher now. And it is still increasing. Come on, when will it stop rising? The price of 95 unleaded gasolines is about 30.7 dollars per liter now. With the price of international gas raise, the price here in Taiwan will increase, too.

I totally have no idea why it still increases gradually. I remember that about one and a half year ago, the time when I had just bought my bike, the price of 95 unleaded gases was about 23 more dollars. How come it is now raising up to 30 more dollars? You know what, I used to spend less than 200 dollars to fulfill my bike, but now I have to spend nearly 300 dollars to fulfill it. Jesus Christ! That's too expensive. Maybe some people from other countries don't think the price of the gasoline here is expensive because they spend more than this in their countries. Maybe we can't get use to it in a short period. But, I have to say many people here in Taiwan would live much harder just because they have to pay more money while they want to go out.

I think it's time for me to think about staying at home more frequently even though I've been doing that for a long time. Thank God I don't have a car now; otherwise I think I will be crazy.

What is Life

Some people say "life is simple", but some don't think so. Different people in different places have different goal to achieve. People always say "just follow your own steps, and do what you want to do", or let's say in other words, that is, life is decided by our own, which means the decision of one's life style is based on his or her own thought.

Though, I say it's not always right. All these craps that I mentioned are just the words that said only by those who want to conciliate or pacify others. They said people can choose their own life style, but the truth is we usually hear people tell others "You should do what or you should not do what." That's conflicting. For example, most teens always want to do something they really want to do, such as going out with friends and pursuing a little bit freedom. But, they always get a denial just because their parents want them to stay at home and study hard so that they may get good grades at school. Many parents carry about if their children can do everything they want or if they did well on the exams at school, something like that. They don't think about their children's feeling and even hurt them until they have found out the relationship between them and their children has break up.

Cases like this are all around everywhere. It's hard to pretend ourselves are willing to do what we don't like to do. But, I'm still glad to see there are some good parents who don't force their children to do something they don't like to do. Like my parents, it's really nice to have such wonderful parents like them. And I love them because they always support me and give me helps when I'm down. May God bless them and keep them all the time.

Ninja

Ninjas, whom appeared in 14th century feudal Japan, are a group of people that well trained by underground organizations for engaging in some extraordinary works. They were usually assigned to do some dangerous missions.

For example, they might be assigned to slip into other countries or organizations as spies. In addition, their ultimate purpose is to steal some secrets or to assassinate someone who is important. However, I still don't know the exact origins of ninja because the related information is not as many as I think.

I wonder whether they can do something incredible that normal people can't do, such as running very fast but silently or doing some arts of ninja. And I also want to know the existence of ninja is truth or not since I've heard some people said they still exist nowadays. But, I think there is no way to find out for me, unless someone who was a ninja can tell me the truth.

Handkerchief

I always like to carry my handkerchief whenever I go out. But, I'm not sure if people at my age would like to use handkerchiefs, or they think it's weird to carry a handkerchief while going out.

Actually, I seldom see young people using a handkerchief in Taiwan. If somebody asks me why I like to use handkerchiefs, I would reply that I don't know. It's just one of my habits. Since I was a little boy, whenever I wanted to go out, my mom always said "Come and get you handkerchief, Simon." Therefore, now I'm used to carry my handkerchief when I want to go out. It's very useful and convenient. When I sweat, I can use it to wipe the sweat away. When I finish my meal, I can use it as a napkin to wipe my mouth. Even when I get hurt and my wound starts bleeding, I may use it to suppress the blood. These cases may happen, or may not. It's hard to say. After all, carrying a handkerchief is not difficult for me.

Some people, though, think it is strange or even sissy for males at my age to use handkerchiefs. But, I definitely don't think so. It's my habit, and I don't care anybody say about that since my mom taught me it's good to have this kind of habits, then it's good. And I love it!

Mummies

It's a common sense that most people in the world know what it means about mummy. For me, I just know it means a dead person who was wrapt by woofs, and even hundreds or thousands of years pass by, the dead body will not be corrupted.

I don't know how those people found the way to keep the dead bodies completed. And I also feel curious about how they invented the way and why they wanted to do this. Maybe it's about ancient Egyptians' religion or something like that. I don't believe the information about the myths of mummy on the Internet because I think they are rumors.

Therefore, I decided to arrange a trip to go to Egypt in the future and I know that I must go to the Pyramids since I think it is not only cultural heritage, but also an irreplaceable Wonders of the world. Well, I think I should start to save some money for the wonderful journey.

Alligator

A couple weeks ago, I heard someone said a word "alligator" when I was having dinner with my friends. It reminds me one of my teachers has ever told me what does "alligator" mean.

I remember he said it is a kind of crocodilian. And I asked him what the differences between crocodiles and alligators are? He said he doesn't know, and he told me they may be the cousins of crocodiles. And he also said they look very similar, and people usually don't know how to recognize which one is which.

But, he talked about one thing that interests me. He said he has ever tasted the meat of it. That is, alligators can be eaten. Cool! I thought they were just carnivorous animals, and only they can eat people, not people eat them. Now I know. I must try that someday if I have a chance. It will be wonderful.

Bats and Vampire

Why do we always see that there are a plenty of bats when vampires show up? Bats usually symbolize resurrection, the cleaner, and they are also the guardian of nights because they only appear at nights as vampires, and most people would connect them with vampires.

Maybe people just want to make the legend of vampire full of more mystery so that bats would always be considered to be the followers of vampires. Some people don't like bats because they think bats are horrifying. I don't like bats. I don't like their appearance, their movements, and I don't like the sounds they make. I think they are one of the ugliest animals in the world.

However, I like vampires. And I like all the legends about them since I think they are very cool. If vampires are truly existent, I hope I can become one of them. But I won't be a bloodsucker because I hate to suck other people's blood. It is disgusting. And the most important thing is that I don't want to have a lot of bats around me, otherwise it won't be cool but stupid.

Criticism

People don't like criticism, or perhaps I should say most people don't like it because some people may not think so. I don't like criticism. I don't like to criticize or say something bad to others since I'm not a gossip, so I usually don't like those who love to gossip behind others.

Sometimes people criticize for advising and suggestions, but sometimes not. For example, I've finished a program about computer for my company, then some people may give me advices after realizing my work so that I can get improvement someday. However, some don't appreciate my work, they just like to find my faults and criticize as much as they can.

This kind of situation happens all the time, especially when we are in a group. And there is no ways to break these conditions discontinuously and make those weird mind persons don’t do that. All we can do and all we have to do is that we don't need to care about what others say the bad and try not to do the same things as they do. That is how I've been doing. I think it is an important lesson that everyone should learn during his or her life.

Malaysia

Malaysia, a beautiful country located in Southeast Asia, which was also my born place. It is very common now to see a lot of traveling commercials about Malaysia on TV these years. And I have to say that it did work since there are more and more people want to go there for traveling or vacations.

For me, of course, I love Malaysia more than Taiwan even though I spent most time staying and studying here. However, it has been a long time that I didn't go back to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia because I have to go to school, and I had no time to arrange a trip to go back these years.

I believe that it is now a very popular place where many tourists like to go. In addition, I also hope that I can go back to Malaysia once again in the future.

Perfume

A couple months ago, I was the type of person who considered using perfume was women's patent. Until one day, one of my friends gave me a small bottle of perfume which was produced by CHANEL, and then I started to use perfume.

At the first time, I really couldn't get use to it. Because I just didn't feel right to have a faint perfume around me. It made me feel like a woman. Several weeks later, though, I had already got used to it. Some of my friends told me that it is a kind of polite ways to show other people that you have good manners when you wear perfume. And I agree with them.

Now, sometimes I wear perfume when I go out since it is a good habit for me but also I could feel more confidence in myself. So, I've changed my view that perfume is not only for women; it can be a part of decorations for men!

Films

Films, one of the biggest entertainments that have been influencing many people over half a century. Nowadays, people enjoy watching movies for entertaining themselves but also consider it as a variety of examples of human's life.

For me, I am not that interesting in watching all kinds of movies. But, I do love to watch some movies that contain educational contents (not about history or documentary films) and some movies that can encourage people's mind. In addition, fancy movies are the other one that I have great interest in, especially those about cars, such as the series of "The Fast And The Furious."

Just like many people in the world, watching movies is a wonderful thing that has already become an indispensable part in my life.

French

French is the most difficult language that I've learned so far. I've learned French for about 2 years, but now I don't think I can have a conversation with French. In the beginning, I was very interesting in learning French because I thought it was a very individual language in the world. And I also liked the pronunciation of French since I thought it was very cool.

However, I don't study French now, unless I could have the chance to go to France and learn real French there. Because if I do want to study French, the best way for learning, of course, is to learn it in France.

Now I sometimes still speak some French with some of my friends with just some simple words or sentences, but no conversations. Because I'm not good enough to speak French smoothly. I wish I could learn French again if I have the opportunity to study aboard in France someday.

Hardley Davidson

Hardley Davidson is a famous brand of bikes. A huge body with higher handgrips and individual sound of exhaust with always over 1,000 displacements are usually the obvious signs to recognize Hardley Davidson.

I know that there are a lot of Americans like it, and it's also popular in many countries around the world. In my view, it is a kind of bike which is more suitable for western people to ride but not eastern people because that kind of bikes are big so that western people who have stronger body could ride them more easily than people in eastern countries. However, I've still ever seen some people in Taiwan ride Hardley Davidson on the street for a couple times. I have no idea how they get and why they want to have Hardley Davidson.

Some of my friends said that if a man who wants to buy a Hardley Davidson in Taiwan, he should prepare at least 1,000,000 dollars. What a great amount! I'm not sure if it is true or not. But, even if I could have so much money someday, I won't buy that because it is just not my style!

Photos are Equal to Memory!

Taking pictures is one thing that I always consider as a most wonderful part in one's life. I also consider that it is a good thing to have photos because it is a kind of memory which can remind me a lot of beautiful things when I am getting old.

However, I rarely take pictures since I was in junior high school because I didn't have much time to take pictures. I think it was a kind of pity!

So, I've decided that, from now on, if I could have extra time, I will take more photographs as possible as I can in order to keep every wonderful memory that I will have experienced so that I could prove and share my life experience with my sons and children when I'm old.

A 10,000 NB

Today I saw news about a new notebook computer produced by ASUS is only 10,000 dollars on the Internet. It is not a big deal that ASUS produces a new notebook. However, the price of it is really attractive for students like me.

In fact, after I read the news, I was quite dubious about it. In addition, I even doubt the 10,000 dollar notebook can work or not. But, it has just come out for a while, so I don't know much about it. I think I will do some homework that can make me know more about it. And maybe I will go to some computer stores and ask someone who knows more detail information about the 10,000 dollar NB.

After that, if its functions that I will have found are also as useful as other notebook computers, then it will be wonderful. And probably, I will consider buying one since the price is too alluring.

CARS

I love cars, especially those dream machines which most people can not buy. I know many kinds of sports cars, but I am just interesting in those cars which I want to know.

For example, I am very interesting in knowing exotic sports cars and super sports cars. In addition, American muscles are one of my favorite kinds. I usually get the information about cars from some overseas websites. I also buy some auto car magazines in order to know more detailed news about the latest cars from time to time.

In fact, I even hope I could go to the very famous and amazing auto show someday - the Frankfurt Auto Show. There will be a plenty of brand new style or concept cars come out by each famous car brand every year. And I love it! If I got a chance to go there, I will try all I can to get there! And I know I will!

VCD is not popular?

Last night, I heard one of my friends said it is already not that popular to watch movies by using Video Compact Disc now. I was surprised when I heard about this because I thought it is still popular to watch movies by using VCD.

Actually, I am not so sure if what he said is true or not since I am not so clued-up on that kind of information. But, after listening to his words, I thought for a while, and I found that maybe what he had said is right. It is not that popular to use VCD now since all the people around me, no matter they are my friends or family, they all use DVD!

I guess this is the most obvious answer that can prove what he had said!

Geek

A few days ago, one of my friends told me that his computer was dead, and he wanted to buy a new one. Therefore, he asked me to go to some computer store with him so that he may take some suggestion from me.

At first, he said he wanted buy a new PC with higher level hardware. However, I told him and said "Why don't you take a look at those notebook computers?" "They are also very useful!" "Maybe you can try to buy one instead of buying a high level PC this time!" But, he told me that he was not that interesting in using a notebook even though it is small and very convenient for carrying! The most important reason that my friend didn't want to buy a notebook computer is the appearance. He thinks that all of the notebooks' appearances are all in a kind, and there are no single point can be talked about. Even if he could buy an Apple's Mac Book, he still considers it is stupid act!

What a real geek he is! I know him very well. He is just like that! He would never change! OK, fine! That was his decision, not mine! But, what was the point that I go out with him?

A bad day

I definitely don't like the weather today. What a disgusting weather it is! Every time when it rains, I hate to go to school because my clothes always get wet.

Even though I may have already worn the raincoat, the terrible rain still made my pants and shoes became wet, and I really hate that! Since the only way for me to get to school every day is to ride my bike. I don't have other choices.

I hope the weather could be always shinny so that I can never need to worry about if my clothes would get wet, I even hope that I could have a sedan! However, I know both of the two things are impossible. Forget it; I think I should face the music!

A journey to eastern Taiwan

Last whole week was the moment that I really felt free this summer vacation. I had already planed to take a trip to the eastern Taiwan with my friends before the summer vacation began. We finally decided to go to Hualien because we knew there are a lot of places that are so beautiful and clean that could make us feel relaxed.

Even though we had not ever been there by driving a car and we didn't bring any maps, we still enjoyed the trip. We went where we wanted to go. When we didn't know how to get the spot, we asked other people because we have mouth. When we needed to find roads, we followed the signs because we have eyes. So we didn't need maps or GPS. Because we believed we can do it. And we did do it. That was how we travel!
